
La Jolla Mesa Vista Homeowners Association
Welcome!
Our homeowner’s association was established in the 1960’s and incorporated in 2017 as a California non-profit mutual benefit corporation. Several updates to the Declarations, Covenants and Restrictions (DC&Rs) have been undertaken with the most recent in 2019. The HOA has no common areas.
There are 145 lots which comprise the association. Ninety-three lots are located on the west side of La Jolla Mesa Drive (Unit 1) and 52 lots are on the east side. The list of addresses included in the association can be found under the Documents tab or by clicking here.
Board and Architectural Jury members of the LJMVHOA are homeowners and volunteers. Castle Breckenridge Management assists in the management of our group since many volunteers work or are part time residents. Management provides continuity, web site maintenance, accounting, tax preparation, budgeting and collection services among many others.
In accordance with our DC&Rs homeowners are notified and required to pay very reasonable annual dues which as of 2024 are $200 per year per lot. They are used for the following purposes:

Liability insurance for our volunteer board

Cost of mailing & administration

Reserves in keeping with the fiduciary responsibilities of the HOA board

Management fees
-
Legal fees and retainers (when necessary)
LJMVHOA has an annual meeting held in the fourth quarter. All homeowners in good standing with the group are eligible to stand for election to the board and participate in governance. Please come and introduce yourself.
